About Spark City

• King Salman Energy City is a newly established Saudi industrial city, located on an area of 50 square kilometers near the city of Abqaiq in the Eastern Province.
• Spark is considered one of the initiatives of Vision 2030. It was inaugurated by His Highness the Crown Prince in 2018 in the presence of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province, His Excellency the Minister of Energy and the President of Aramco.
• Spark will be the main center in Saudi Arabia for GCC Railways in Spark City.
• It will have one of the largest dry ports and logistics centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• The city will focus on the supply chain related to supporting services for the energy sector, the digital sector and the non-metallic industries sector.
• SPARK will create more than 100,000 job opportunities.
• SPARK will annually contribute more than $6 billion to the Saudi GDP.
• SPARK will attract more than 300 companies.
• The city is fully managed by Aramco through ECDC, a company wholly owned by Aramco: Energy City Development Company.
